Compare the past with the present.  What has changed in the last 30 years?  Using materials around the house make a 3D map/model of Cloghan, putting in shops and houses from the past. Take a photograph of your map/model and email it to me.

Supporting your Child's Emotional Well-being.  Use this link to help your child to fill his/her Piggy Bank Account with praise. Complete it over the next 3-4 weeks, explaining to your child why you wrote each word in the coins. Your child can colour in the picture. Put it on the front of the fridge as a reminder.

STEM - A Day in the Life of a Snail

Task - Create and produce a short oral presentation or digital presentation about a day in the life of a snail.

Find out about snails and where they live, what they eat, how they move and what dangers they face.

Go to https://www.scoilnet.ie/  Scroll down to the navy tab for  World Book Logo.     Click on the tab Enter World Book Online.  Click on Kids icon. They type Snail into the search bar.

Write a plan of each part of the presentation - pictures, drawings, photographs, and write a script which will explain where a snail lives, what it eats, how it moves and what dangers it faces.

Collect all of the materials you will need from around your home. Design posters and make models from resources in your home.

Create the oral presentation using your resources or make a documentary using an iPad, digital camera or smart phone. Save the digital presentation on a USB or email it to the school at stmarysnscloghan@gmail.com
