School Calendar 2025-2026

School Opening:         Monday 1^st September 2025.

                                   Junior Infants will be going home at 12noon for the first 2 weeks     

                                   (1^st Sept – 12^th Sept)

National Ploughing Championship in Tullamore 16^th – 18^th Sept 2025: The school will open at the later time of 10am, as advised by An Garda Síochána, and approved by the Board of Management.

Mid-term Break:        Closed Monday 27^th to Friday 31^st Oct 2025 (inclusive)

Christmas Holidays:  Closed Monday 22^nd Dec 2025 to Friday 2^nd Jan 2026 (inclusive)

School Closure:         Monday 19^th January 2026.  Staff training

Public Holiday:         Monday 2^nd February 2026

Mid-term Break:       Closed Thursday 19^th & Friday 20^th Feb 2026

School Closure:        Closed Mon 16^th & Tue 17^th March 2026

Easter Holidays:        Closed Monday 30^th March to Friday 10^th April 2026 (inclusive)

School Closure:         Monday 20^th April 2026.  Staff training

Public Holiday:          Closed Monday 4^th May 2026

Public Holiday           Closed Monday 1^st June 2026 and

School Closure:         Closed Tuesday 2^nd June 2026

Summer Holidays:    Closing on Friday 26^th June 2026

Further closures, dates of school events and staff meetings and parent-teacher meetings will be added at a later date.
