School Opening:        Monday 31^st August

Please note:  Junior Infants will be going home at 12 noon for the first two weeks 
(31^st August – 11^th September)

School Closure:        Tuesday 8^th September – Staff Training 

National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore 15^th– 17^th September 2026:
The school will open at the later time of 10am, as advised by An Garda Síochána, and approved by the Board of Management.

Mid-term Break:       Closed 26^th– 30^th October 2026 (Inclusive)

Christmas Holidays: Closed Wednesday 23^rd December to Tuesday 5^th January

Public Holiday:         Monday 1^st February

Mid-term break:       Closed Thursday 18^th and Friday 19^th February

School Closure:         Wednesday 17^th March

Easter Holidays:        Closed Monday 22^nd March- Friday 2^nd April (Inclusive)

School Closure:         Friday 23^rd April – Staff Training

Public Holiday:         Closed Monday 4^th May 2027 and

Further closures, dates of school events, staff meetings and parent- teacher meetings will be added at a later date.

This is a provisional calendar and is subject to change if deemed necessary by the BoM.

Fógra:  There will be a  number of school closures to facilitate the implementation of the New Primary Curriculum Framework and New Child Protection procedures. These dates will follow as soon as we have received confirmation from the Department.
